I've been a long-time fan of the Glasgow-based textile design firm Timorous Beasties, and especially love their damask and toile patterns that have unexpected, hidden design motifs. This pattern is also heavily influenced by the wonderfully surreal wallpaper pattern used in the Disneyland Haunted Mansion ride.

After learning some techniques for creating repeat damask patterns on Skillshare, it took a lot of trial and error to get this naughty-yet-classy pattern just right!
